NBCD performs all aspects of clinical trials such as protocol development, data management, regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, monitoring including risk-based monitoring, and trial management.

About the position

You will act as a key member of the Data Management team and report to the Associate Director Data Management.

As Senior Clinical Data Manager, you are responsible for the quality of the data and DM activities on the studies to which you are assigned. This will entail that one of your primary tasks will be to provide technical and functional support and supervise our Clinical Data Managers from trail start-up to closure. This means that you will be an expert in our SOPs and also take responsibility for the development of these to comply with authority expectations. Furthermore, you are expected to contribute your knowledge and DM experience for onboarding new DM team members, be an active participant in the knowledge-sharing activities that take place within the DM team, in the company as a whole, and during interactions with our clients. In addition, you may occasionally be assigned as lead data manager on a study.

You will have the opportunity to use your interpersonal- and communication skills and take your supervisory skills to the next level. In addition to strengthening your capabilities in risk-based centralized monitoring, SAS-based programming, and building of EDC systems, your DM skills will be challenged by working in a CRO, which engages in clinical trials investigating diverse indications.

In short, you get to be part of our team effort in delivering world-class clinical databases for advancing our clients’ drug development objectives and for authority submission and market approval.

 

Work location: Telefonvej 8D, 2860 Søborg 
Physical presence at our office on a weekly basis is a prerequisite for the successful candidate.

Travel: Limited travel activity is to be expected.

About you

Desired skills and experience
Preferably you have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a clinical data manager.
  • Extensive experience in the start-up period of clinical studies of all phases.
  • Extensive experience in the database lock period of clinical studies of all phases.
  • Programming experience in SAS, but experience in other programming languages is also an advantage.
  • Experience building EDC system(s).

For new hires without prior experience with being a Senior Clinical Data Manager, NBCD will provide the needed support and training to become well-equipped to handle the job requirements.
